Veterans Affairs Medical Center Campus - Lake Nona, Florida 2007-2011
Staff member of the production team and Revit specialist for the delivery of a 1.2 million square feet facility. The facility included 134 bed hospital, 120 bed nursing home, 60 bed residential rehabilitation, diagnostic and treatment, clinic, chapel, warehouse facility, parking structures and administration area. Before this project, more than 60,000 veterans had no adequate facility for treatment.
This project was a joint venture between Ellerbe Becket and RLF in Orlando Florida. Project roles varied according to dynamic needs including architectural production, Revit troubleshooting, coordination between medical planners and RLF.

Part of the effort at the time involved the development of this Revit model when (2007) the technology was limited using Revit for a project of this size (1.6 million SF) and complexity. Worked with two teams in Washington and Orlando, learned leading best practices on optimal usage for production. Participated in the development of new items in Revit such as fire partitions, and the construction of more than 1,200 pieces of medical equipment components to populate the corresponding project rooms.
